Jakarta, 16 March 2021 – The Directorate General of Taxes (DJP) appreciated PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (Telkom) for its synergy and tax contributions in 2020 with an award, which Head of the Large Tax Office Four, Budi Prasetya gave to Telkom Finance Director, Heri Supriadi at Telkom Landmark Tower (15/3).
The award is a recognition of TelkomGroup as one of the largest tax contributors and the only company that recorded positive tax contributions growth in 2020 in the Large Tax Office Four In addition, Telkom is also a compliant and obedient taxpayer and actively promotes to implementing the tax rules within the company.
“Telkom is a partner for us, not just a taxpayer. Telkom is the only taxpayer with positive growth in 2020 and is one of the 10 largest taxpayers in the Large Tax Office Four,” Head of the Large Tax Office Four, Budi Prasetya said in his speech.
Budi Prasetya said that TelkomGroup's contribution growth in 2020 grew 3.24% with 26.4% tax contributions out of the total tax revenue in the of the Large Tax Office Four "Hopefully in 2021 the collaboration between Telkom and the Large Tax Office Four could be more intense," Budi said.
Telkom Finance Director Heri Supriadi welcomed the award. "Representing Telkom's management, we thank you for the support of the Large Tax Office Four, which actively continues to communicate, cooperate and collaborate with professionals so that Telkom can fulfill each of its tax rights and obligations,” Telkom Finance Director, Heri Supriadi said.
Heri also appreciated the DJP trust and support for cooperation in tax data integration between Telkom and DJP, which is an example of cooperation-based tax compliance between the authorities and taxpayers. "In the future, Telkom is committed to continuing to improve the synergies that have existed so far, as part of contribution to the nation and the state, especially from taxation," Heri said.
