Bandung, 21 April 2021 – PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (Telkom) has rolled out again their annual TelkomGroup Siaga RAFI (Readies for Ramadan and Eid Al-Fitr) 2021 program in order to ensure the best quality of service to customers during the Eid holiday season. Themed "Keep Connected and Protected”, the nationwide program started from the beginning of Ramadan until a few days after Eid al-Fitr. The TelkomGroup Siaga RAFI 2021 is launched in all Telkom regional offices and it consists of three main programs, including Prime Service, Special Packages, and Telkom Sharing. Telkom President Director Ririek Adriansyah, accompanied by Telkom Finance Director Telkom, Heri Supriadi visited the locations in Region III where the program is introduced, precisely in Bandung (21/4), as part of the Directors’ Visit activities.

During the visit, Ririek symbolically handed over TelkomGroup Sharing assistance to the regional office. The assistance, in total worth Rp1.6 billion, consists of renovation assistance for orphanages and Islamic boarding schools, and donations for orphans and the poor. In addition, the regional office also launched the LinkAja Charity program known as Ramadhan Friends Program as a medium for employees who want to donate and share with others.

Ririek also inspected the conditions of infrastructure at TelkomGroup Command Post in Graha Merah Putih, Bandung, to ensure TelkomGroup services’ readiness, especially in the Telkom Regional III West Java area during Ramadan and Eid holiday season. 

“The Covid-19 pandemic is not over yet. We are aware of the importance of connectivity as one of the driving forces in economic acceleration, especially ahead of Eid al-Fitr. Therefore, we have prepared staff who are on standby 24x7 at the command post to ensure the quality of TelkomGroup services remains excellent until Eid, when separated family members would use conference calls and video conferencing to stay in touch,” Ririek said.

Apart from inspecting the infrastructure, Ririek also visited the neuCentrIX Lembong data center. neuCentrIX is a TelkomGroup initiative to serve the wholesale market for the telecommunications industry and the digital ecosystem by providing globally-competitive data center services with the widest coverage. Telkom is optimistic to expand the data centers capacity and coverage in various cities in Indonesia, as it competes with various global and domestic business players,

Moreover, Ririek had an exchange with customers at GraPARI TelkomGroup Lembong and gave them souvenirs. Ririek reminded the working staff to stay healthy and adhere to health protocols, given the pandemic. Ririek also saw the Digital Marketing Operation, which is a data analytics system for marketing needs and to find out IndiHome customers’ voice.

Ririek said he hoped TelkomGroup Siaga RAFI 2021 can be a manifestation of the state-owned enterprise’ existence for Indonesia, especially Telkom, of which customers and  less privileged people can really benefit from, to reflect on the spirit of Ramadan and share happiness with the community. In addition, Ririek said Telkom believes that the pandemic has changed people's digital adoption. Hopefully, Telkom’s digitalization can facilitate community activities and will make Indonesia a better place.
