Jakarta, 14 September 2021 – The ongoing Covid-19 pandemic has significantly impacted the growth of digital adoption rate of society and customer behavior. In the health care sector, the pandemic has increased public awareness of the need for easy access to corporate and individual services. This prompted PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (Telkom) through its subsidiaries in the health sector, AdMedika and TelkoMedika, to provide digital-based and integrated health service solutions. This time, Admedika and TelkoMedika support the digitization of health services in the education sector. 

Telkom and University of Padjadjaran (Unpad) forged collaboration in this regard, with two cooperation agreements signed at the university's main hall, witnessed by Telkom Enterprise & Business Service Director Edi Witjara and the Chancellor of the Prof. Dr. Rina Indiastuti. President Director of TelkoMedika Dudy Effendi and the Vice Chancellor for Resources and Finance of the University of Padjadjaran Prof. Ida Nurlinda, MH signed the agreement on Health Services for Lecturers and Employees of the University of Padjadjaran and their families, while President Director of AdMedika Dwi Sulistiani and the President Director of the Padjadjaran University Health Clinic Prof. Dr. dr. Achmad Hussein Sundawa Kartamihardja, Sp.KN. MH.Kes signed the collaboration on Padjadjaran University Clinic being part of the AdMedika Network. 

This collaboration includes AdClaim and AdPass services provision. AdClaim service is a health claim management service to make it easier for participants to get cashless and online health services for Unpad employees and their families. AdPass is a web-based application used in health facilities to verify a participant's eligibility. These health services will be available in Unpad Clinic and in all TelkoMedika Clinics in Indonesia and supported by other health prevention programs. With these two services, Unpad employees and their families can conveniently get medical treatment just by showing a participant card. In addition, by becoming an AdMedika online provider, Unpad Clinic can offer health services to other AdMedika participants from all over Indonesia.

Prof. Dr. Rina Indiastuti said in her remarks that the university appreciated the health services cooperation for the Unpad family, “Hopefully the Unpad family will benefit a lot from the health services modernization. This is one of Unpad's efforts towards becoming a hybrid university."

Edi Witjara also thanked the university for their trust in Telkom, saying "with our capabilities, we are ready to collaborate with innovators from Unpad to come up with innovations that will be beneficial to society."

The TelkomGroup and Padjadjaran University collaboration is mutually beneficial and gives added value to their respective capabilities. “With the spirit of synergy, TelkomGroup is confident and committed to continuing to support the education sector to progress by facilitating integrated health service solutions. This will certainly further expand the reach of digitizing the health ecosystem in Indonesia," Edi said.
