Nusa Dua,  19 October 2022 - PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (Telkom) showcased its digital ecosystem's capabilities and advantages at the Digital Ecosystem Zone booth at the SOE International Conference 2022 in Nusa Dua, Bali. Telkom Consumer Service Director and Acting Enterprise & Business Service Director FM Venusiana had the opportunity to explain the digitalization support that Telkom has provided for Indonesia to the Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan, State Owned Enterprise Minister Erick Thohir, and former British Prime Minister Tony Blair. A 5G Artificial Intelligence (AI) robot was also demonstrated during the same occasion.

Themed 'Economic Transformation through Digitalization: Empowering Society to Accelerate Digital Economy', Telkom presents three big narratives of its support to accelerate the realization of digital sovereignty, namely digital environment, digital society, and digital economy. Telkom shows the potential for digital ecosystem transformation and the capabilities of state owned enterprises, especially Telkom, in supporting this development.

In the digital environment, Telkom brings the company's passion and commitment to providing telecommunications infrastructure throughout Indonesia to the outermost, most frontier, and most underdeveloped regions and abroad, such as fiber optic, fixed and mobile broadband services, international undersea cable communication systems, and satellites. Currently, IndiHome services have reached 499 districts and cities and Telkomsel has been serving more than 98% of the population.

For society and the digital economy, Telkom presents digital platforms and services for the convenience of various levels of society, both personal, MSMEs to corporations. Some of the superior products presented are PaDi UMKM, BigBox, Agree, Logee, Incandescent, and others. These three important aspects are packaged in video formats, product demos and projection mockups.

Telkom's various 5G implementation scenarios (use-cases) Telkomsel were also on display, such as 5G Smart Mining (5G in The Box, 5G Connected Worker, 5G Computer Vision) and 5G Artificial Intelligence (AI) Robot. For the main use-case, Telkomsel showcased several technologies in the 5G Smart Mining scenario, namely 5G in The Box, 5G Connected Worker, and 5G Computer Vision. The 5G Smart Mining technology provides great opportunities for digital transformation and increases productivity and operational efficiency of companies, such as the implementation for the mining industry with PT Freeport Indonesia and MIND ID through the implementation of the first 5G Underground Smart Mining in Indonesia in September 2022. Apart from 5G Smart Mining, Telkomsel also presents a 5G AI Robot use-case, a robot with human-like capabilities.
