Jakarta, 9 February 2022 – PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (Telkom) is listed again as the only Indonesian company in the Global 500 2022 Most Valuable Brand (company with the most valuable brand) issued by an international brand valuation consultant, Brand Finance. With a brand value of US$4.69 billion and an enterprise value of US$30.44 billion, Telkom ranks 490th on the list, outperforming other brands from various countries. This is the fifth time Telkom has been listed among the global ranks of world-class prestigious companies such as Apple, TikTok, Amazon, Google, and others.

This achievement is proof that Telkom's transformation steps are on the right track and are starting to yield results. Ririek said that Telkom focuses on running three digital business domains; digital connectivity, digital platforms, and digital services. The Brand Finance Global 500 is a brand valuation rating that Brand Finance compiles annually. To compile the list, Brand Finance assessed more than 5,000 brands in 26 countries and covered 29 sectors. The brand value score is obtained by using a methodology that assesses brand impact and brand strength. Meanwhile, brand strength is measured from the balanced scorecard matrix between marketing investment, stakeholder equity, and business performance.
Telkom Wins 1st Rank in Indonesia's Most Valuable Brand 2021
In addition to this brand value achievement, Telkom on Tuesday, 8 February 2022 was awarded the first rank for Indonesia's Most Valuable Brand 2021, in which Telkom's brand valuation exceeds other companies' brand values in Indonesia. Telkom is recognized as having an AAA brand rating and a Brand Strength Index (BSI) of 87.1 out of 100 for the Telkom brand. This makes Telkom a digital telecommunications company with the most powerful brand in Indonesia.

By the third quarter of 2021, Telkom had successfully yielded Rp18.9 trillion in consolidated net profit, or grew by 13.1% annually. The company's consolidated revenue grew 6.1% year-on-year to Rp106 trillion. At the same time, the company's profit before interest, tax, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) grew 8.1% YoY to Rp57.9 trillion. EBITDA margin and net profit margin also increased to 54.6% and 17.8% in the same period.
