Jakarta, April 25, 2022 - PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (Telkom) continues to ensure fulfilling customers' needs with excellent quality network infrastructure and optimal services to realize the best customer satisfaction, especially during the Ramadan and Eid 1443 festivities. To secure and ensure TelkomGroup's network and services readiness, Telkom Network & IT Solution Director Herlan Wijanarko, accompanied by Telkom Regional I EVP Semly Saalino went on a number of working visits to Banda Aceh some time ago. The visits included a rehearsal test Aceh Regional with Telkom Digital Business Director Muhamad Fajrin Rasyid attended online.
Trials are carried out to ensure reliability, availability, and network & IT infrastructure readiness in order to improve the best customer experience during the peak season of Ramadan and Eid. The Banda Aceh trial was the culmination of a series of rehearsal tests after other tests conducted in seven regions, where Telkom carried out nearly 1,502 testings for its network & service, Telkomsel's network & service, top priority customers, cyber security, digital business, and information technology.
In addition to checking the network, Telkom leaders and their team also conducted a trial for CNOP (Collaborative Network Optimization Project) services as well as Telkom's leading digital services such as myIndiHome and PeduliLindungi, and checked the newly completed Aceh's middle lane fiber optic backbone readiness.
Telkom Digital Business Director Muhamad Fajrin Rasyid said in his speech that "we will ensure Telkom's digital products and services readiness during the month of Ramadan and ahead of the Eid festivities since this year will be the first time that people are allowed to travel again, and Telkom will ensure service reliability for the satisfaction of customers and society.”
On a separate occasion, Head of the Gayo Lues Communication, Information, Encryption, and Statistics Agency, Said Idris Wintareza, said he appreciated Telkom's contribution in deploying a fiber optic backbone network in Aceh's middle lane to open access for community internet network penetration, especially in Gayo Lues Regency. "We hope that through Telkom's network deployment, we can support the regency government in providing the best services for the community, including opening access to public information disclosure, and encouraging quality improvements in various sectors such as the economy, social and other sectors," Said said.
In addition to conducting the tests, Telkom Directors also embarked on a Ramadan Safari as part of the TelkomGroup Siaga Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr (RAFI) 2022. The Charity for Indonesia program gave donations to orphans, less advantaged children, and Broadband Learning Center (BLC) assistance for public schools and Islamic boarding schools. The total assistance provided nationwide is up to Rp1.6 billion .
The Directors also reviewed the infrastructure readiness at the IOC (Integrated Operation Center) of Aceh Regional. Herlan said he appreciated and motivated all TelkomGroup employees who are tasked with securing and ensuring the quality of TelkomGroup services during the month of Ramadan and ahead of Eid. To the employees at Aceh Regional, Herlan said, "As a company that is transforming into a digital telco, TelkomGroup is committed to always ensuring excellent infrastructure quality as the main foundation to provide the best quality service for customers and the people of Indonesia, especially during Ramadan and Eid."
Furthermore, they also visited the customer service center, Plasa Telkom Banda Aceh to ensure the quality of service to customers and the readiness of digital products and services offered to ensure that customers' needs are fulfilled, especially during the month of Ramadan and during the Eid season.
Telkom Regional I EVP Semly Saalino added, "This Ramadan Safari Program is a form of Telkom's contribution to the community. Apart from running its business, Telkom also pays attention to the surrounding environment by sharing with the Acehnese people."
Telkom hopes that its contribution by providing quality infrastructure, optimal services, and assistance to those in need can give more meaning to the community during Ramadan and Eid 1443 festive season, as well as can become a tangible manifestation of the contribution of SOEs, especially Telkom to Indonesia.
