Jakarta, February 9, 2020 – PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (Telkom) won two awards at the Indonesia Corporate Secretary & Corporate Communication Award (ICCA) 2020 for its capability and success in effectively managing the company's reputation building in the midst of the digitalization era. Telkom was recognized as the Corporate of the Year 2020 - Non-Financeatt Company and 1st The Best Corporate Secretary & Corporate Communication for the Public Company category in the Telecommunication sector. Secretary-General of the Ministry of Communication and Information, Rosarita Niken Widiastuti and Professor of IPMI International Business School, Roy Sembel and Editor-in-Chief of Economic Review, Irlisa Rachmadiana presented the awards to Telkom Senior Vice President Corporate Secretary, Afriwandi at the IPMI International Business School Building, in Jakarta (7/2).
After receiving the awards, Afriwandi expressed his gratitude to all parties and all stakeholders that have supported this achievement. "These awards are important achievements as well as recognitions for Telkom, especially for the company's reputation management activities. This is also performance calibration for companies in managing company reputation and communication," Afriwandi said.
ICCA 2020 is an annual awarding event organized by the Economic Review, Ideku Group, and the Indonesia-Asia Institute. This award appreciates Indonesian companies recognized for its capability to continue building their reputation by having a good level of employee engagement, ability to communicate digitally and to attract consumers offline and online. The assessment is based on data analysis, questionnaires, and evaluation of the jury led by Roy Sembel. The assessment has 11 criteria, namely Organization Structure; Innovation Award; Website; Digital Social Media Analysis and Report; Annual Report and Company Profile; Performance Report; Government Relations, Media / Press Relations, Stakeholders and Shareholder Relations; Action Plan and SWOT Analysis; Corporate Secretary; Corporate Communication; and Public Relations.
Afriwandi said that the awards are dedicated to all TelkomGroup employees who contributed to managing communications and the company. "This is a testament to the good collaboration of all TelkomGroup people. I hope the awards will motivate us to continue improving our capacity and quality of our performance to be the best in the future," Afriwandi said.
