The evaluation process for the HR Asia Best Companies to Work For award began since the end of 2018 through a series of assessments, employee surveys and presentations by each nominee. Comprehensive assessment was then carried out by an assessment team consisting of HR practitioners, experts, academics, and consultants.
The three models of survey used were TEAM (Total Engagement Assessment Model), which were divided into three categories. First, CORE (Collective Organization for Real Engagement) which assess about Culture & Ethics, Leadership & Organisation and Active Initiative. Second, SELF: Heart (Emotional), Mind (Motivation & Intention) and Soul (Behaviour & Advocacy). Lastly, Group: Think (Collective Consciousness), Feel (Workplace Sentiment) and Do (Team Dynamics). This models of survey is different from the one used in the previous year, which only assessed three main factors namely employees feeling happy and motivated to work as well as feeling proud to contribute to the company. Based on the survey and assessment carried out by the judges, Telkom scored above industry average.
"This award is certainly not the end of an achievement, but a milestone to go forward, that we must continue to improve and constantly be a material for reflection for management to provide the best for all stakeholders, including of course employees who have contributed to the company," Edi said.
