Jakarta, 28 June 2023 – State-owned digital telecommunications company PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (Telkom) consistently strengthens its synergies with other state-owned companies to accelerate Indonesia's digital ecosystem realization. Its most recent synergy was through one of its subsidiaries, PT Nuon Digital Indonesia, with state-owned production and film financing company PT Perusahaan Film Negara (PFN) to develop the film and content ecosystem in Indonesia, especially from the digitalization aspect.

President Director of PT Nuon Digital Indonesia, Aris Sudewo, recently visited the PFN head office where he was warmly welcomed by PFN President Director Dwi Heriyanto B., and his team, and both sides discussed collaboration to establish the Indonesia Film Facilitation (IFFa) website.

"This website - developed through collaboration - will become a comprehensive digital solution for professionals and film industry activists," Aris said, adding that digital technology development in motion pictures will be the key to encouraging progress in Indonesia's motion pictures and content industry, as well as creating an innovative ecosystem, which will continue to progress and develop.

"Through synergy with Nuon, we aim to strengthen digital infrastructure in the Indonesian film industry. IFFa will make it easy for film producers to quickly access the desired shooting locations, including shooting permits, develop an attuned collaboration between producers and location owners, and expand partnerships with stakeholders in this sector,” PFN President Director, Dwi Heriyanto B. said.

Aris said he hoped that this project could boost growth in the motion pictures and content industry, and would expand the outreach of Indonesian content in the global market.

"This synergy is in line with PFN's commitment to developing a quality ecosystem to develop the Indonesian motion pictures and content industry, and Telkom's efforts to support the realization of Indonesia's digital ecosystem. Nuon, as a subsidiary of Telkom, is committed to getting involved in achieving this vision," Aris said.
