Jakarta, 13 September 2021 – IndiHome, one of the interactive television services that PT Telkom Indonesia Tbk (Telkom) owns, forged official cooperation with the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries (KKP) to broadcast videos about the marine and fisheries sector with topics ranging from marine literacy, policy socialization, and KKP programs. The collaboration was marked by the launch of NeptuneTV on the IndiHome service channel,  which was held online and offline in Jakarta, Monday (13/9).

Special Assistant to the Minister of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries for Media and Public Communication, Doni Ismanto and the Telkom TV and Video Division Executive General Manager A. A. Gede Mayun Wirayuda were among those present during Neptune TV launch. .

Minister of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Sakti Wahyu Trenggono said in a pre-recorded remark that NeptuneTV is the Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Ministry's innovation and creativity in conveying information in the marine and fisheries sector to the public. NeptuneTV's content ranges from video documentaries to web series and are presented as attractively as possible to be easily understood by the public. "Have fun watching NeptuneTV from which you can get a lot of information, as well as overseeing our performance," Sakti Wahyu Trenggono said.

On a separate occasion, Telkom Consumer Service Director Venusiana said, "We are officially announcing IndiHome and the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries's collaboration. It is a manifestation of Telkom's real support, especially IndiHome, for government programs so that the public can access reliable information on Indonesia's maritime sector, policies and and the ministry's programs easily through IndiHome TV," Venusiana said.

NeptuneTV shows are available on IndiHome's in-house channel with the main channels broadcast on Ruang Trampil, UseePhoto and UseePrime; and Video on Demand (VOD) services. Both are also available on IPTV IndiHome TV or through the useetv.com website and the UseeTV GO application. The NeptuneTV content will air every Monday to Friday at 12.30 WIB and every Saturday and Sunday at 19.30 WIB.

Adding to the Minister of Marine Affairs and Fisheries' remarks, Doni Ismanto as Special Assistant to the Minister of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries for Media and Public Communication, said that Neptune TV is part of the KKP strategy in communicating to the public about the strengths of the marine and fisheries sector so that they can take part in benefiting from Indonesia's marine and fisheries natural resources in accordance with the Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries' blue economy principles.

Doni added that Neptune TV content is also available on the MAXStream application and the official YouTube channel of the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries. He acknowledged that it is necessary nowadays to use technology to quickly distribute information to the public due to its wide reach and accessibility from anywhere and anytime. "We expect NeptuneTV's presence through various digital platforms can be a trusted source of information for the public about the Marine and Fisheries sector in a bid to support Indonesia's position as a prosperous maritime country," Doni said.

IndiHome will continue to present informative and educational shows for the public in order to nurture excellent national resources in making a developed Indonesia a reality. IndiHome will also always support the creation of a digital society by facilitating convenient unlimited activities from home using internet, telephone, and interactive TV services.
