Jakarta, 31 May 2021 – PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (Telkom) rolled out its social movement program through IndiHome for  East Nusa Tenggara (IndiHome untuk NTT) on 29 May 2021 with Rp550 million aid assistance for those affected by natural disaster that hit the province. Telkom Consumer Service Director, FM Venusiana R. handed over the aid to the Ministry of Social Affairs and it was received by Social Affairs Minister Tri Rismaharini. 

“Thank you to IndiHome and its customers who have initiated aid assistance to help our compatriots in NTT. Based on the situation on the ground, they need a lot of assistance, because the disaster damaged their houses and infrastructure including roads, bridges, and the much-needed clean water,” said Tri Rismaharini, Minister of Social Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia (31/5).

The IndiHome program for NTT was held for 18 days from 12 to 29 May 2021 via customer participation in the social movements and by exchanging their MyIndiHome points. The IndiHome social movement for NTT managed to garner 16,000 support on social media and the points exchanged on myIndiHome application reached 15,000 support in almost three weeks.

Participants in the social movement took part by uploading twibbon frames with their best photos on social media channels by including the hashtags #IndiHomeUntukNTT and #BerkahTanpaBatas. Participants also have to tag @IndiHome account and mention at least five (5) friends who are active social media users to be involved in IndiHome for NTT program. The donation frame template is downloadable from the landing page on  www.indihome.co.id/untukntt.

As for donations through myIndiHome points, participants can redeem their points by selecting 'IndiHome Cares for National Disasters 10,000' and selecting 'Redeem Points' to participate.

"Our biggest hope is that social movements such as IndiHome customer support for NTT can ease the burden of people affected by natural disasters. Hopefully this support will not only provide material help but will also be able to lift the entire NTT community’s spirit as it shows that all Indonesian people, in this case IndiHome customers, also care about our compatriots in NTT,” Venusiana said.

The 'IndiHome for NTT' program ended with the highlight of the event, the 'IndiHome Sharing Syiar & Poetry Blessings for NTT' program on 3 June, 2021. This is mix of between Qur’an recital and online art entertainment performances on IndiHome official Youtube channel and Instagram Live @IndiHome, presenting Muslim cleric Gus Miftah and musicians Fadly Padi and Ade 'Govinda'.
