Jakarta, 21 November 2023 – In line with its commitment to implement ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) through the EXIST program (ESG Existence for Sustainability by Telkom Indonesia), which the company recently inaugurated, PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (Telkom) is once again organizing Innovillage, a sociopreneurship competition for all university students across Indonesia. This program is an annual competition that Telkom's Community Development Center (CDC) organized with Telkom University.

In its fourth year, under the theme "Empowering Young Sociopreneurs for National Development," Telkom calls on students to develop creative ideas, hone innovative skills, and realize their potential in creating solutions that will impact positively society. For those interested in participating, registration for Innovillage is open from 16 to 25 November 2023.

Participants wishing to join the program can register via MyInnovillage at my.innovillage.id by filling out the form and selecting the "SDGs-based Social Impact Enhancement Scheme" for new Innovillage participants and the "Sustainability Scheme" for Innovillage for those who participated in 2020-2022 and have previously registered and choosing the appropriate SDGs target. Participants will then undergo assessment stages, and the selected "Top 200 Social Projects under the SDGs-based Social Impact Enhancement Scheme" and "Social Projects under the Sustainability Scheme" will receive Implementation Funds from Telkom Indonesia.

"We hope that students will actively participate in this program. Thus, students as the next generation can sharpen their awareness to analyze the environmental issues around them and dare to provide solutions. Hopefully, the variety of community solutions produced by social projects can serve as tangible evidence of the active participation of Indonesian youth in building their regions," Hery Susanto, SGM of Telkom Community Development Center said.
