There were three awards for innovators that Telkom gave this year. First, an award to the best two young innovators who utilize technology and digital services to improve the community quality of life. Award for the best young innovator this year was given to Ngamen Hub platform developer from the Digi Social Fest Vocational School program and the MyBidan application developer from the Innovillage program. Telkom Digital Business Director, Muhamad Fajrin Rasyid, gave the Best Young Innovator award to highlight Telkom’s 56th anniversary celebration.
NgamenHub is a platform that connects musicians and buskers with event organizers and business people. Musicians can easily join the community through various features on this platform, and perform in the space provided by the platform, build personal branding, and market their exclusive merchandise to fans. NgamenHub also helps business people to find musicians that match the entertainment needs of their business location.
The second application to receive the award was MyBidan. This web-based application provides information and education, as well as monitoring the health of children under five and pregnant women. The application, which is part of the Top 10 Social Projects at the Innovillage event, is expected to anticipate stunting from an early age.
The second award was given by Telkom to each of the three best startups from the Indigo Creative Nation incubation program and the Digital Amoeba Program. The three best startups from Indigo that won the awards were Verihubs, SIAB Indonesia, and BIOPS Agrotekno. Telkom Director of Finance and Risk Management Heri Supriadi, Telkom Director of Enterprise & Business Service Edi Witjara, and Telkom Director of Strategic Portfolio Budi Setyawan Wijaya each presented the award to the three startups respectively.
The winners of the best startup awards from Amoeba incubation are Inecrow, Sprinthink, and GameQoo. In addition, Telkom Director of Human Capital Management Afriwandi handed the Decree of Appreciation for Best Amoeba Innovators 2021 to seven innovators who contributed greatly to developing and expanding the use of digital technology to accelerate economic growth and digitization of Indonesia.
Finally, Telkom gave the 2021 Innovative Village Award to the Liang Ndara Tourism Village, Cecer Village, Labuan Bajo, East Nusa Tenggara, handed over by Telkom President Director Ririek Adriansyah. According to Ririek, Cecer Village and awardees in the other categories deserve the award, because their contribution is very useful to optimizing digitalization in Indonesia and improving people's living conditions.
The pandemic and the increasingly intense competition are a challenge for Telkom, so we need to deal with it in an unusual way. We want to transform into a digital telco and of course we need to innovate both internally and digitally. We believe that digitalization provides opportunities not only for Telkom but also for the nation and the state. Digitalization will provide an opportunity for Indonesia to leapfrog in many ways to be closer ahead to developed countries, in terms of education, health, finance and so on. We must remember that it is not the big ones that will survive, nor the most resource-rich, but the ones that will adapt the fastest to change. So the only way we can change quickly is by transforming to digital telco. We certainly can, if we innovate. Let's work together to give the best and innovate for the company, nation and country," Ririek said.
