Jakarta, 28 April 2022 - Ahead of the Eid Al-Fitr 1443 H festive season, PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (Telkom) continuously ensures and oversees all of its infrastructure and services readiness to provide the best quality service for customers. To ensure the infrastructure and services reliability, the Board of Directors of Telkom had virtual visits to several infrastructure posts and customer service posts across Indonesia via video conference on Wednesday (27/04). The posts included the regional and national network readiness posts, Telin posts, Telkom Access posts, and Telkom and Telkomsel customer service posts.

During their visit, Telkom's board of directors listened to the explanation on the infrastructure condition and the officers’ readiness who are stationed at the command post and in the field. The visits were marked with the directors giving gifts to staff and officers at TelkomGroup Siaga RAFI 2022 posts as symbolic appreciations for their being on duty 24/7. 

The visit to the TelkomGroup Siaga RAFI 2022 is the company’s regular program during the Ramadan and Eid season, which includes thorough inspection of the infrastructure network and customer service readiness, in order to optimize and secure the quality of service, especially the network when there is a surge in telecommunication traffic during the Ramadan and Eid holiday season. The telecommunication traffic surge, in data and voice, often occurs during Eid celebrations, especially this year, after the government has declared that Eid holiday travel is allowed this year after it was banned in the past two years due to the pandemic. The spike in holiday travel requires anticipation to ensure that the quality of service for the community remains excellent without any obstacles.

Telkom President Director Ririek Adriansyah said he appreciated all officers on duty at the TelkomGroup Siaga RAFI 2022 Command Posts saying, “I would like to thank you all for your contributions in fully anticipating this year’s Eid season, especially since this year's homecoming travel is the first one since the pandemic hit, so we must be able to provide the best service for the customers despite such a great demand,” Ririek said.

Ririek emphasized that ”Telkom also needs to ensure the best service quality that is evenly distributed in all areas, especially in vital areas with high traffic. Locations that require special attention include Bank Indonesia because it has a vital function in money transactions; gas stations, especially in ensuring the availability of stock based on the digital system from Telkom, as well as transportation operators.”

Ririek also said that TelkomGroup will anticipate the possibility of traffic congestion, especially in untested areas by preparing additional capacity to guarantee that telecommunications services remain operational. Ririek said he expected TelkomGroup prepared services can contribute to the smooth flow of this year's homecoming travels.

TelkomGroup Siaga RAFI 2022 is themed "Seeks Blessing with Noble Virtues" and the annual program consisted of four objectives, namely Excellence Customer Experience (CX) to ensure excellent quality infrastructure networks, Special Service Projects for Customers to provide a variety of special solutions for customers, and Digital Experience which provides superior digital products and services to meet customer demands during Ramadan and Eid season, as well as Charity for Indonesia as a form of Telkom's humanitarian concern for those in need through assistance and compensation programs.
