Jakarta, 19 November 2020 – PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (Telkom) has reached the 25-year milestone of dual listing on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) and the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE). Telkom made its initial public offering (IPO) on both the Indonesian stock exchange and on the international stock exchange in the United States on November 14, 1995. This milestone marks Telkom’s succeess in proving itself as a company with good and sustainable performance that meets the international standards.

Telkom held the 25th Anniversary of its IPO with Minister of State-Owned Enterprises Erick Thohir, Deputy Commissioner for Capital Market Supervision of the Financial Services Authority Djustini Septiana, Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) President Director Inarno Djajadi, Telkom President Commissioner Rhenald Kasali, Pos Indonesia President Director Faizal R. Djoemadi and representatives from the Indonesia Museum of Records as well as those who played a role Telkom's IPO history were among the guests attending the event at at the the Telkom Landmark Tower. During this event, IDX President Director and Pos Indonesia Director gave Telkom President Director the 25th Telkom IPO certificate and the inaugural edition of the 25th Telkom IPO personalized stamps respectively. The stamps were then given to those who are part of Telkom IPO history. Telkom also received a MURI record award certificate entitled "Indonesian Company as an Issuer on the 2 Longest Sustainable Domestic and Foreign Stock Exchanges".

In his speech, Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (SOE) Erick Thohir said that Telkom is the largest company that the SOE ministry owned in terms of infrastructure and can be the driver for change. In this current condition, investors believe in companies that have long-term strategies and are able to adapt to changes, especially in the industry that Telkom is engaged in. Erick advised Telkom to continue to work consistently, maintain cohesiveness and continue to oversee the transformation in order to achieve a higher market capitalization.

Earlier on the same day, Telkom President Director Ririek Adriansyah accompanied by President Director of the Indonesia Stock Exchange Inarno Djajadi rang the opening bell to mark the stock trading on the IDX marking the 25th anniversary of Telkom IPO. Also attending the occasion was Telkom President Commissioner Rhenald Kasali and Telkom Finance Director Heri Supriadi.
"Being a dual-listing company, shows our commitment to compliance with the rules and regulations in accordance with the spirit of good corporate governance. It also shows our credibility as a public company. We thank our predecessors who have fought for Telkom to go public on two world stock exchanges, then to stakeholders for their trust in Telkom so far," Telkom President Director Ririek Adriansyah at the commemoration of the 25th Telkom IPO Anniversary in Jakarta (19/11). Ririek said that during the last 25 years listed on the IDX and NYSE, Telkom's shares were able to provide a market capitalization that continued to grow about 12 times and had carried out two stock splits in 2004 and 2013.

NYSE Vice President of Listings and Services, Chris Taylor, through his video testimony, congratulated Telkom on the 25th anniversary of Telkom's dual listing on the IDX and NYSE. Chris said that Telkom’s IPO was a very important moment not only in Indonesia but also in Southeast Asia. "We are proud and grateful that Telkom is a member of the NYSE, the greatest community of companies in the world," he said.

As an expression of its gratitude, Telkom also celebrated its 25th IPO Anniversary by organizing two CSR programs to mark the occassion. The first CSR program is assistance for Simego Village, which is a location for a pilot project for the outermost, frontier and least developed (3T) Region Internet Access Provision Program through Mangoesky VSAT technology. As many as 241 villages in 26 provinces throughout Indonesia will have a similar program so that the villagers can access the internet like people in urban areas. The second program is the 2020 Millennial Wirakriya Program. It is a webinar training for 1,000 millennial entrepreneur candidates in five of Indonesia's top priority tourist destinations, namely Borobudur, Lake Toba, Likupang, Labuan Bajo, and Mandalika. With a total assistance of more than Rp10 billion, these two CSR programs are a manifestation of Telkom's presence in realizing equal internet access and to support the government in accelerating the national economy. Witnessed by the Minister of SOE via video conference, Telkom representatives handed over the assistance to beneficiaries from their respective locations. 

"The 25th anniversary of the IPO is a new motivation for Telkom to continue to provide the best, not only in terms of company performance, but also in accelerating it to become the people's first choice for digital telco, in line with the changing industrial landscape. We hope that all levels of society will continue to support our efforts to lead the nation and state into the digital era and together create a developed and prosperous Indonesia,” Ririek said.
