Jakarta, 17 March 2022 – PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (Telkom) through its digital product umbrella brand, Leap-Telkom Digital (Leap), participated in an exhibition to mark the 46th anniversary of Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) in Surakarta, in line with its commitment to encourage the realization of Indonesia's digital sovereignty by accelerating digitization in various sectors. During this occasion, Telkom introduced a variety of technological innovations and digital solutions to meet the needs of people in various sectors. The President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo, accompanied by the State Secretary Pratikno, the Minister of Education and Culture Nadiem Makarim, the Governor of Central Java Ganjar Pranowo, and the Chancellor of UNS Jamal Wiwoho visited the exhibition which was held in the Solo Techno Park area, last Friday. 

During his visit to Telkom's booth, Jokowi saw various digital ecosystems that Telkom developed, including Ultrasonic Sonar, technology to repel leafhoppers in rice plants managed on the Agree digital platform and one of the technological innovations that resulted in Telkom and UNS synergy. 

In its booth themed "Accelerating Village Transformation through Digital Ecosystems for Advanced Indonesia", Telkom also displayed a variety of superior products and services to facilitate community activities, including BigBox, Eventeer, MAXStream, Orbit, and IndiHome, as well as Smart Village Nusantara, which is integrated with Leap products, among which were Logee, Agree, PaDi UMKM, MySooltan, Simpeldesa, and Telkom IoT, as well as eLOK. Telkom also took the opportunity to launch Indigo and Pijar Camp programs. 

During the occasion, Leap, through its agricultural technology product Agree, signed a cooperation agreement with PT Profitani on the implementation of digitizing the agricultural ecosystem. Telkom Digital Vertical Ecosystem Agriculture Head, Hikmatullah Insan Purnama, said, "Leap-Telkom Digital pays great attention to connecting the dots in the agricultural ecosystem, starting from farmers, entrepreneurs, agriculture & animal husbandry, buyers, and related producers/industry. We hope that this collaboration will be a good start for the digitization of Indonesian agriculture.”

In addition to Leap's innovations on digital products and services, Telkom's booth also displayed cooperations that transformed Indonesia, namely village digitization for tourist villages, healthy villages, and village governance, and improving micro, small, medium enterprises business quality through digitalization, village social development with digital community service concept and Campus Bersama (joint campus) as well as joint research and innovation in digital talent and DigiPreneur.
