Overall, TelkomGroup dispatched travelers to 32 destinations using 105 buses, 4 batches by ships, 21 flights, and two train coaches, with more than 250,000 travelers participating in the 2019 SOE Mudik Bareng, which is a synergy of more than 104 SOEs.

Jakarta, 30 May 2019 – As Eid al-Fitr 1440 H approaches and in order to make it more convenient for urban dwellers who are going home to their respective hometowns, TelkomGroup held again a joint exodus or mudik bareng by dispatching at least 8,250 travelers from a number of regions. This is part of the SOE 2019 Mudik Bareng activities, initiated by the State-Owned Enterprises (SOE) Ministry, which is ready to send 250,000 travelers home in its fourth year of implementation.


SOE Minister Rini M. Soemarno saw the SOE 2019 Mudik Bareng participants at Bung Karno Stadium  East Parking lot, Jakarta (30/5). On this occasion, TelkomGroup dispatched 4 buses bound for Surabaya and Solo.


Vice President Corporate Communication PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (Telkom) Arif Prabowo said the joint exodus program shows that the government, in this case, SOEs, cares about citizens who are embarking on the homeward bound journey to celebrate the holiday. 


“Homecoming is a moment for everyone who wants to celebrate Eid al-Fitr in their hometowns. This program is a manifestation of SOEs are There for the Nation initiative to make it more convenient for travelers by providing them with safe and comfortable modes of transportation,” Arif said. 


Overall, TelkomGroup dispatched travelers to 32 destinations using 105 buses, 4 batches by ships, 21 flights, and two train coaches. Participants in the program are IndiHome customers, TelkomGroup employees, technicians, and sales force of IndiHome and Telkomsel outlet partners. The travelers received goody bags each containing a t-shirt, a cap, snacks, and medication, as well as a top-up for their LinkAja accounts. 


Apart from dispatching travelers from Bung Karno Stadium, participants of TelkomGroup exodus trips were also dispatched from Bandar Lampung, Medan, Padang, Bandung, Yogyakarta, Denpasar and other cities. On 1 June 2019, the company dispatched 31 buses with 1,400 travelers on board from Wisma Aldiron, Jakarta in an IndiHome Mudik Bareng program.
