Jakarta, 17 May 2023 - The 42nd ASEAN Summit 2023 was successfully held recently. Various parties' synergy, including PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (Telkom) as a digital telecommunications company whose role was to provide digital telecommunications infrastructure and services, made the success of this multilateral event possible. 

The quality of telecommunications infrastructure and services that Telkom provided counted as one of the convenient facilities for conference participants and other parties involved in the summit, including the media. A crew member from a national media outlet appreciated Telkom for the stable internet connection in various venues, especially in the media center. "The internet network was very smooth, the signal was very strong, especially for live reports," news broadcaster SCTV journalist Agisha Febila Alamsyah said.

The ICT network quality was also evident on the KM Sinabung passenger ship, which served as a floating accommodation for the summit participants. Second Junior Officer of KM Sinabung, Hendra AS also appreciated the quality of internet provided by Telkom, especially on KM Sinabung. "Thanks to the internet provided by Telkom, communications here were very smooth," Hendra said.

Telkom SVP Corporate Communication & Investor Relations, Ahmad Reza said this contribution manifested Telkom's effort to strengthen its positioning as the largest digital telecommunications company in Indonesia in supporting the realization of a globally competitive Indonesia. "This achievement certainly was possible with the support of various parties, especially the command post officers and technicians who were also involved in overseeing the infrastructure at the 42nd ASEAN Summit.
