Jakarta, January 30, 2019 - PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (Telkom) forged cooperation with members of the Association of State-Owned Banks (Himbara), namely Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI), Bank Mandiri (Mandiri), Bank Negara Indonesia (BNI) and Bank Tabungan Negara (BTN) to provide convenience and more benefits to customers in paying IndiHome subscription fees. The Cooperation Agreement "IndiHome Payment Discount Program using Himbara Credit Card and Debit Card Autopayment" was simultaneously signed by Telkom’s Consumer Service Director Siti Choiriana, Bank BRI Director Handayani, Bank BNI Director of Institutional Relations Adi Sulistyowati, Bank Mandiri Retail Banking Director Donsuwan Simatupang, and Bank BTN Commercial Banking Director Oni Febriarto Rahardjo in Yogyakarta, Wednesday (1/30).

The collaboration between Telkom and the HIMBARA Bank includes a discount program of up to 20% to pay new and existing customers’ IndiHome bills. Customers can get the up to 12 months discount for IndiHome bill payment through credit card or debit card autopayment issued by banks which are members of Himbara

In her remarks, Siti Choiriana said, "the spirit of BUMN [state-owned enterprises] synergy has lent colors to the synergy between Telkom and the Himbara banks. The focus of this collaboration is to provide maximum benefits to IndiHome and Himbara banks customers. They will get benefits such as a discounted IndiHome bill if they pay the bill using a Himbara bank credit or debit card."

This collaboration is one of the manifestations of synergy between state-owned enterprises within the framework to create Indonesia's digital society. This is an effort to accelerate the progress of Indonesia's digital economy, in accordance to the government's goals to make Indonesia the largest digital economic power in Southeast Asia.
