Jakarta, 6 October 2022 – PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (Telkom) provided assistance in the form of Device, Network, Application (DNA) devices worth up to 11.23 billion rupiah to 321 schools across Indonesia, especially those in the outermost, frontier, and disadvantaged areas through the Digital Innovation Learning School to support the digitization of the education sector. 

Telkom President Director Ririek Adriansyah and Secretary of the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) Susyanto symbolically handed over the aid to representatives of the beneficiary schools namely Bantargebang 3 Elementary School and Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Darul Falah. This is a form of Telkom's commitment to continuously encourage the development of the nation's education, especially through the use of technology and digitalization.

"The Digital Innovation Learning School Program aims to accelerate the creation of an inclusive education and learning process for the community through the use of digital technology. We hope that this program will expand and will always assist the teaching and learning process to produce quality and competitive human resources in the future,” Ririek said.

The Head of Bantargebang 3 Public Elementary School, Yatin, S.Pd., MM appreciated Telkom's contribution in realizing equitable education digitization. “We are happy and grateful for Telkom's concern for education in this country. We hope that Telkom will continue to be present to support the distribution of the education sector to remote areas through digital infrastructure so that all of Indonesia's young generation can grow to be the nation's competitive future generation," Yatin said.

Bantargebang 3 Public Elementary School in Bantargebang sub district of Bekasi City is one of the beneficiary representatives. The school provides educational services to 460 students from various backgrounds. Meanwhile, the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Darul Falah in Leuweung Datar Village, Sirnajaya Village, Bogor Regency, which was established in 1955, has 200 students and nine teaching staff.

The DNA equipment assistance distributed in the Digital Innovation Learning School program to 321 schools throughout Indonesia consists of two units of computers, one unit of projector, and one unit of Orbit modem with free internet quota for one year. Telkom hopes that through this support, students would obtain a more optimal learning and teaching process so they could become the best digital talents in the future.
