Logee records a nearly 300% increase in the number of fleet owners joining the platform in 2022
Jakarta, 14 June 2023 – The Fourth Industrial Revolution has driven many sectors to adopt digitalization, including the logistics sector. This has also triggered a significant increase in the usage of the logistics platform under the auspices of PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (Telkom), namely Logee. The Logee logistics platform has recorded various significant improvements thanks to the various solutions offered to customers.
Muhamad Fajrin Rasyid, Telkom Digital Business Director, said that through Telkom's commitment to supporting digitalization in the logistics sector by providing the best solutions for customers, Logee has experienced remarkable growth. "Since its inception in 2020, Logee has helped implement e-logistics systems or logistics digitalization for thousands of logistics stakeholders in Indonesia. Logee offers six digital products, all of which run seamlessly to facilitate manufacturers, cargo owners, truck owners, and outlet owners," Fajrin said.
Reflecting on the achievements in 2022, Telkom is optimistic that Logee will perform even better this year. In 2022, Logee experienced a significant increase in the number of fleet owners joining the platform, reaching almost 300%. The number of truck fleet owners also increased by over 150%, and distributor participants in Logee rose by more than 160%. Additionally, the number of outlet owners joining Logee in 2022 increased by over 780% compared to 2021, from thousands of outlets to more than tens of thousands of outlets. This is because outlet owners can purchase products at relatively lower prices than buying from wholesale stores.
Meanwhile, utilization of the Logee platform from the customer's perspective has shown positive impacts as well, including PT Perkebunan Nusantara 8 (PTPN VIII), which experienced a fourfold increase in orders and positive impacts on the company's revenue. Thanks to the utilization of the Logee platform, order fulfillment received by PTPN VIII increased by more than 400%. Through Logee, order fulfillment conducted by PTPN VIII reached hundreds of thousands of kilograms. Logee successfully assisted PTPN VIII in managing the distribution process of tea products through the provision of a digital platform and warehouse operation management. Not only that, but Logee also helped PTPN VIII in managing the flow of inbound and outbound shipments and maintaining the quality of tea stored in the warehouse.
In 2023 and forward, Logee will continue to enhance its platform capabilities to assist all Logee users in expanding their sales, and there is a possibility of reaching export markets. "Utilizing Logee can improve efficiency and indirectly have a positive impact on company revenue. In the future, Logee will continue to create innovations to support the competitiveness of Indonesian products," Fajrin said.
As a logistics platform under the auspices of Leap-Telkom Digital (Leap), having Logee shows one of Telkom's efforts to address the challenges of digitalization in the logistics sector. Through Logee, Telkom hopes Indonesia can achieve digital sovereignty, thus realizing a more prosperous Indonesia with better competitiveness.
