Telkom Group Business Development Director, Honesti Basyir at the SEA Today 3rd anniversary celebration held recently in Sentul, Bogor. 

Jakarta, 19 September 2023 – PT Metra Digital Media (MD Media) as a subsidiary of PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (Telkom) recently held a golf tournament in Sentul, Bogor to celebrate its news television channel SEA Today's 3rd anniversary. There were more than 100 participants in the SEA Today Golf Day 2023 themed "Enlightening SEA Society". Telkom Independent Commissioner Wawan Iriawan, Telkom Business Development Group Director Honesti Basyir, and MD Media President Commissioner Ahmad Reza, as well as MD Media President Director Arif Prabowo kicked off the tournament. Also present at the tournament was the Head of the TNI Information Center, Admiral TNI Julius Widjojono.

"Now that it is three years since its establishment, we hope that SEA Today will continue to grow in the future. We would like to thank all parties who have supported the success of this event, especially the sponsors and stakeholders so that this event can run well," President Director of MD Media, Arif Prabowo said in his speech.

"On its 3rd anniversary, we hope that SEA Today can continue to contribute in improving Indonesia's global competitiveness by becoming a window for the world to see Indonesia's potential and beauty," MD Media President Commissioner Ahmad Reza said. 

There were more than 100 golfers including TelkomGroup's senior leadership, representatives of other state-owned enterprises and private companies. The tournament was also aimed to increase awareness about SEA Today among corporations, especially state-owned enterprises to engage more with SEA Today, and to boost cooperation between SEA Today stakeholders.

"SEA Today is an English-language broadcaster and one of MDM and Telkom's vehicles with a special mission to broadcast the beauty of Indonesia to the world. We hope that SEA Today will continue to make positive contributions, continue to grow, and expand for Indonesia's development. Happy birthday SEA Today," Honesti Basyir said.
