Jakarta, 22 November 2023 – The Indonesia Music Awards (IMA) 2023, a prestigious award event for Indonesian musicians, will be held again. Nuon Digital Indonesia (Nuon) through Langit Musik and RCTI provides an opportunity for the Indonesian public to support their favorite musicians through voting from 7 November to 5 December 2023 (until 23.59 WIB). The peak of the IMA 2023 awards will be broadcast live on RCTI on 7 December 2023, starting at 21.30 WIB from one of the most advanced studios in Asia, namely Studio RCTI+ at MNC Studios, Jakarta.

A Rigorous Process to Pick IMA 2023 Nominations 

Nominations in each category of IMA 2023 have been meticulously compiled through a highly selective process, based on Langit Musik streaming data and NSP activations during the 2022-2023 period. Consequently, this list of nominations is highly relevant to the music trends during that period.

Unlike IMA 2022, IMA 2023 will feature 14 categories where the winners will be determined by public voting through the Langit Musik application. Additionally, there are special categories such as Langitku Artist of the Year and Langit Musik Lifetime Achievement Award. Specifically for the Langit Musik Lifetime Achievement Award, the selection is made based on the jury's assessment of the individual's work, influence, and contribution to Indonesian music. Among the jury members attending the nomination selection process are Agustinus Shindu Alpito from Medcom.id, Bambang Heri Hermawan from MARI Group, and Wahyu Nugroho from Pop Hari Ini.

The awarding night of IMA 2023 will be hosted by renowned artists and presenters and will feature entertainment or performances by favorite Indonesian musicians.
