Jakarta, 7 July 2022 - PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (Telkom) held various activities on on 5 and 6 July 2022 themed Funtastic Days 2022: Learn, Grow and Contribute to Indonesia, to celebrate Telkom's 57th anniversary.

TelkomGroup's Board of Commissioners, Board of Directors and senior leadership, chairman of the employee union, chairman of the Telkom Pensioners Association (P2TEL), and chairman and management of Forsikatel Group, and employees in The Telkom Hub area and in all seven Telkom regions attended the hybrid event to celebrate Telkom's 57th anniversary. 

Telkom President Director Ririek Adriansyah in his remarks called on all TelkomGroup personnel to be appreciative of Telkom's 57 years and its achievements to date. Ririek also called on the employees to reflect during this anniversary celebration on what they have given to the company and on the tasks and targets they must achieve in the future.

“Since 2019 we believe that digital is a necessity. However, digitalization also provides an opportunity to leapfrog to be on par with other countries in a particular way through digitalization. Therefore, let us work side by side to make Telkom the backbone of Indonesia's digital transformation. Together, we will usher Indonesia to be in the same league with other developed countries in the world," Ririek said.

Telkom President Commissioner Bambang P.S Brodjonegoro in a pre-recorded video testimony said during its 57 years' contribution to the nation and state, Telkom has participated in uniting the Republic of Indonesia through connectivity in the telecommunications sector. In the 4th industrial revolution and digital transformation era, TelkomGroup's contribution to Indonesia will increase and become even more significant since TelkomGroup will be more incorporated into all aspects of Indonesian people's lives through a digitalization approach.

The Funtastic Days 2022 activities included an internal community exhibition, bazaar, garage sale of employees' goods, blood donation drive in collaboration with Blood4Life, an Abdel pingpong exhibition match with Ficky Supit, a national athlete and TelkomGroup employee, and a charity auction of Telkom's Commissioners and Directors' personal goods. 

The festive event also featured collaboration between Telkom and Never Too Lavish to paint a pair of limited edition sneakers and a live mural themed Telkom's anniversary, Podkesmas that took over Telkom Talks podcast program with Telkom President Director, and entertainment from stand up comedians Abdel-Temon, Fourtwnty, and Vierratale.

"Thank you to all TelkomGroup personnel and stakeholders who have loyally supported Telkom to date. Let's work hard and work smart together to make Telkom the leading digital telco that provides the greatest benefit to society and the country," Ririek said.
