Kalimantan Selatan, 17 April 2023 – In the holy month of Ramadhan 1444H, the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN), together with PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (Telkom), held the BUMN Ramadhan Safari 2023 by distributing 1000 basic food packages to the community in Taman Giat Tanjung, Tabalong regency in South Kalimantan on Thursday (13/4). This activity, which also marks the celebration of BUMN's 25th anniversary, offered affordable basic food packages at 55,000 rupiah per package. Each package contained 5 kg of rice, 1 liter of cooking oil, and 1 kg of sugar.

The Regent of Tabalong, H. Anang Syakhfiani, inaugurated the Ramadhan Safari, symbolically presenting the community with basic food packages from the Head of Telkom's Tanjung Tabalong Regional Office, Pamuji Santasa.

During the 2023 BUMN Ramadhan Safari and Bazaar, H. Anang Syakhfiani said he appreciated the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises for organizing the Ramadhan Safari activities, particularly in Tabalong, conducted by PT Telkom Area Tabalong.

"The concept of the 2023 BUMN Ramadan Safari is to provide an affordable basic food market and BUMN bazaar to strengthen community bonds, especially among residents of Tabalong and its neighboring areas," H. Anang Syakhfiani said.

The BUMN and Culinary Bazaar, part of the 2023 BUMN Ramadan Safari, also served as a platform for micro, small, medium enterprises to showcase their products, including Tanjung batik. Participants at the bazaar expressed pride when the Regent of Tabalong visited the batik booth.

Anang also expressed hope that the event would foster Islamic brotherhood among all communities. "It aims to bring benefits and blessings during the Holy Month of Ramadhan for the people of Tanjung," he said.

"PT Telkom Indonesia was tasked with organizing events in two locations, Kab. Tanjung Tabalong and Tanah Bumbu. Both events were held simultaneously on Thursday, 13 April 2023," said Pamuji Santasa, Head of Tanjung Tabalong.

Pamuji said that besides offering affordable basic necessities, attendees could explore products from 20 MSMEs participating in the event. In addition to essential items, various dishes for breaking the fast were also available.

Pamuji said he hoped that this initiative will bring benefits and blessings to the community during the holy month of Ramadan, particularly in the vicinity of Tanah Bumbu.
