One of the #Ayobikinnyata teams with the best innovations in the environmental category, Daur Bikin Makmur, collaborated with the community in Magelang to implement a digital waste management dashboard.

Jakarta, 9 January 202 3 - PT Tekom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (Telkom) has been running the #Ayobikinnyata (#letsmakeitreal) program for all employees to channel their sense of concern and desire to contribute to the social environment and society, in accordance with Indonesia's Minister of State-Owned Enterprises' direction to focus the company's corporate social responsibility program on education, the environment, and micro, small, medium enterprises development. #Ayobikinnyata is an internal employee program based on community social participation to make real changes and provide benefits in the social surroundings. The program runs a competition to produce digital innovations from TelkomGroup employees' participation.

"The #Ayobikinnyata program actually sharpens TelkomGroup employees' sensitivity to be more concerned about societal problems, and is expected to result in their developing digital and problem solving innovations. Therefore, we will continue this program and we call on more employees to participate," Telkom SGM Community Development Center Hery Susanto said.

After four years of its implementation, the #Ayobikinnyata program has produced various innovations on social sustainability, community empowerment, environmental preservation, and the community's economy. Every employee can participate by sending individual or group innovation proposals to develop digital solutions to problems in society. There are now more than 1,000 TelkomGroup employees throughout Indonesia with more than 500 creative ideas that have been accommodated into digital solutions.

Innovation proposals selected to be in the #Ayobikinnyata programs go through several stages to determine the best idea. Participants will be asked to submit their proposals via Ideabox, which will then provide a short video presentation regarding their innovation objectives. Next, the Top 12 innovations will be selected in the on-desk verification stage and an advanced selection process to find the top three winning innovations in each category. The three best innovations from each category that have been determined through an assessment will then receive funding from Telkom to realize their innovations and develop them in a sustainable manner.

Employees with the best innovations who have succeeded in obtaining funding for their creative ideas have the right to work directly in the community to apply digital innovations they made and to constantly measure how successful their innovations are in their application. "We hope that the #Ayobikinnyata program can instill a high social sense in TelkomGroup employees, especially the next generation of young people who are active, creative, and willing to produce the best digital innovations that bring real change to Indonesia," Hary said.
