Jakarta, 8 February 2022 – In order to support digitization in the agricultural sector, PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (Telkom) through Leap-Telkom Digital launched Agree, a digital service that serves a part in the digital agricultural ecosystem development. Agree comes as a solution from the upstream, production, to downstream and is open for collaboration with all stakeholders in agriculture. To date, Agree is not just for use in the agricultural sector, but it is also useful in the fisheries and livestock sectors. More than 45,000 farmers and more than 100 agribusiness companies have joined the Agree ecosystem.

State-Owned Enterprise (SOE) Minister Erick Thohir kicked off last week (30/1) the Kopi Nusantara Project Management Office (PMO) at the PPI Coffee Warehouse - Lampung, with Pupuk Indonesia, IDFood, PTPN III Holding, BRI, Perhutani, Telkom, 175 farmers, 50 coffee business actors, 5 SOEs, 2 coffee associations (SCAI & SCOPI) were among those present. Kopi Nusantara PMO consists of SOEs, national private sector, associations, and research and development (R&D) institutions, and it is expected to encourage progress of the national coffee industry ecosystem and be able to accommodate the interests of coffee business players to encourage the domestic coffee industry to be globally competitive.

In this case, SOEs will use Agree for upstream - downstream digitization of coffee commodities. The SOEs PMO (BRI, PTPN III Holding, Pupuk Indonesia, IDFood, Perhutani, Pulitkoka, SCOPI, SCAI, coffee collectors and fostered farmers) will utilize the solution. With an additional traceability feature in collaboration with Distrix Sigma, Agree is an added value for all stakeholders by providing track & trace coffee processing services so it can increase the value of coffee commodities in both the domestic and global markets.

Telkom Digital Business Director, Muhamad Fajrin Rasyid said, "Telkom is ready to support the development of an agricultural ecosystem that connects all relevant stakeholders into an integrated ecosystem, starting with investors/funding, offtakers, insurance, government and agency support as well as technology providers that aim to improve farmers' welfare and add value to SOEs and the industry."

Agree enables Telkom to create a digital agricultural ecosystem that is connected from upstream to downstream and makes traceability easy. It can therefore support the Indonesian people in creating a single agricultural data and digital literacy for the agricultural sector from upstream to downstream.

Agree is part of Leap, which is the umbrella brand for Telkom's digital products and services to accelerate the digitization of the Indonesian people. Leap is expected to support the growth of Indonesia's digital ecosystem to accelerate the realization of a national digital sovereignty government, in line with the government's target in the next few years.
