Telkom Digital Business Director Muhamad Fajrin Rasyid on Friday (11/3) had an audience with the Deputy Governor of East Java, Emil Elestianto Dardak, during which he introduced Leap's superior digital products and services, including BigBox, Logee, PaDi UMKM, SooltanPay, and Agree, to support the government in providing excellent public services. 

Emil said he appreciated Telkom's support and initiatives, especially for East Java Province, as they are in line with the Minister of State-Owned Enterprises’ expectations of Telkom to produce digital innovation, and that Telkom has a pioonering role that provides and uses digital technology optimally.

The Deputy Governor of East Java also expressed his intention to take advantage of Telkom's big data solution, BigBox. "We hope that there will be practical use cases for big data so that the public can benefit from it. I see BigBox as a platform that allows us to be in touch with various information and we can also benefit from One Data Indonesia,” he said.

In addition to the audience with the deputy governor, Telkom and PT Sangolas Manggala Jaya and PT Sandhega Nusa Brothers signed a cooperation agreement on the Implementation of Digitizing the Corn Agriculture Sector, as well as the signing of the Minute of Meeting (MoM) between Telkom and the regency administrations of Pamekasan, Sidoarjo, and Malang, and Jatim Park Group on the Implementation of One Data. The General Managers of Telkom Regional and the respective Regency Head of Communications and Information Office and the company leaders signed the agreements, witnessed by Telkom Digital Business Director Muhamad Fajrin Rasyid.

"We thank Telkom and Agree for this cooperation opportunity. We hope that through the collaboration we can support the monitoring of our farmers so that they can plant according to established procedures to produce quality corn, which could help to improve the farmers’ welfare," Director of PT Pandhega Nusa Brothers Ivan Tri Bramantyo said.

In his remarks, Telkom Digital Business Director Muhamad Fajrin Rasyid said that Telkom is committed to always supporting digitalization in various sectors to encourage the acceleration of Indonesia's digital ecosystem through collaboration with various related parties.

"We hope that Telkom and all stakeholders in various sectors, including the government, industry, and micro, small, medium enterprises can become the main players in improving Indonesia's digital economy, in order to accelerate the realization of Indonesia's digital ecosystem."

Fajrin Rasyid had a meeting with the academic community of the Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology (ITS) to open opportunities for collaboration in developing digital talents from East Java, as a manifestation of Telkom’s digitalization support in all sectors, including education. Fajrin also delivered a public lecture to ITS students in the hybrid-held Digistar Connect 2022 with ITS Chancellor, Mochamad Ashari was among the attendants.

"In the future, by bringing the spirit of digitalization for a better Indonesia, Telkom through Leap will continue to contribute and provide the best innovations in all sectors to improve people's welfare. Because we believe that digitalization can accelerate the realization of Indonesia's digital ecosystem for a better Indonesia," Fajrin said.

Leap is an umbrella brand for Telkom's digital products and services to accelerate the digitization of Indonesian society.
