Nusa Dua, 11 October 2023 – The highlight of the 2023 Archipelagic & Island States (AIS) Summit Forum was held on Wednesday (11/10), at the Bali Nusa Dua Convention Center. PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (Telkom), as a state-owned telecommunications company, is committed to ensuring the security of all telecommunications infrastructure and services for this international event, attended by high-ranking officials from various archipelagic nations.

Ahmad Reza, Telkom SVP Corporate Communication & Investor Relations on Tuesday (10/10) confirmed the readiness of Telkomsat's satellite news gathering or SNG for the AIS 2023 Forum Summit. The SNG was crucial for TelkomGroup in ensuring the success of this major conference among island nations, particularly in facilitating media coverage and broader public access to the event's proceedings. Ahmad Reza also interacted with technicians on duty, emphasizing the importance of teamwork in maintaining the quality of TelkomGroup's services.

"Successfully hosting this international event is Telkom's primary objective, as it not only enhances the company's reputation but also promotes Indonesia positively on the world stage. Besides SNG, TelkomGroup also supports event coverage through SEA Today as the host broadcaster," Ahmad Reza said.

Throughout the 2023 AIS Forum summit, TelkomGroup provided support in the form of digital connectivity using the best telecommunications network infrastructure, digital platforms, and digital services. Telkom offered a telecommunications network infrastructure with a total bandwidth capacity of 41.1 Gbps, including Astinet, Metro-E, IP VPN, and WiFi, complemented by one Satellite News Gathering (SNG). The main venue was equipped with network infrastructure capable of handling a maximum capacity of 36.5 Gbps.
