Telkom's virtual world platform, which was launched in July, metaNesia, succeeded in becoming the first metaverse ecosystem platform in Indonesia, which led to its recognition as the "PERTAMA DI INDONESIA" or the first in Indonesia from INFOBRAND.ID and TRAS N CO Indonesia. This recognition was announced recently at the 2022 Info Brand Awards awarding night. 

INFOBRAND Group Media CEO Susilowati said that the "PERTAMA DI INDONESIA" award is an appreciation and recognition given to companies for their achievements, innovations, and works that have been successfully created to increase the selling power of products or services. metaNesia received this award because it succeeded in becoming a pioneer in its category as the first metaverse ecosystem in Indonesia. The "PERTAMA DI INDONESIA" award is given to the first company to launch an innovation and the first in Indonesia after validation and inspection. So we were going through a research process to assess which one is the first in Indonesia," Susi said.

metaNesia obtained this award after fulfilling three assessment criteria, which included The First aspect assessment, for being the company that had fulfilled the element of being the first in Indonesia. The second criteria is Evidence aspect, or the value measured based on evidence owned by the company or that can be validated through media coverage as being the first. The final criteria is the Validation aspect, which explains that the company is required to sign a Validation Data and Disclaimer letter as the first in Indonesia or proven by Online Validation Research through search engines and social media.

Susi said that she has been observing how the metaverse ecosystem is very well developed in the world of marketing in the digital era. She believes there are many brands that need a marketplace that utilizes the metaverse, which is available on metaNesia. “MetaNesia is the first in Indonesia to offer the metaverse ecosystem so that it can reach a wider market first. The challenge for metaNesia is to expand collaboration with brands that have the potential or interest to enter the world of the metaverse," Susi said.

metaNesia is a metaverse platform under the auspices of Leap-Telkom Digital that creates virtual interactions and new experiences in introducing products to the digital world. One of the things that metaNesia offers is the metaverse mall in which you can buy and sell goods in the form of NFTs, by applying the Phygital (Physical & Digital) principle, which makes it easier for users because they can use fiat money (Rupiah).

Following its launch on 31 July 2022, metaNesia has collaborated with various leading brands, such as Honda and Fruit Tea to experience new business experiences within metaNewsia's metaverse. "The collaboration with Honda is to create an interactive virtual showroom where visitors can see various Honda products 360 degrees, including seeing the exterior, interior, to the engine and various features," Telkom Digital Business Director Fajrin Rasyid said.

Fajrin also said the Honda showroom at metaNesia could display detailed parts such as under the car to see the frame, which prospective customers could not do in real-world showrooms. Apart from that, showroom visitors can also do a virtual test-drive to provide a maximum experience for users.
