Jakarta, 4 April 2022 –  The fast-paced digitalization requires corporations and businesses to continue to adapt in order to survive and move forward. It is therefore necessary to have a collaborative digital transformation with all parties, such as the private sector, government, and state-owned enterprise, one of which is PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (Telkom), collaborating to present the Kadin Tech Hub. The hub was launched at the 2022 Nusantara Expo and Summit (DNES) Digitalization event held by Kadin Indonesia in Surakarta, Central Java, as part of the Digitization Task Force B20 side events .

Kadin Tech Hub is a forum that brings together companies/agencies/micro, small, medium enterprises, businesses with problems and solution providers from individuals, startups, and campuses. Chairman of the New Initiative for Communication and Informatics committee of Kadin Indonesia and Telkom Digital Business Director Muhamad Fajrin Rasyid said that the Kadin Tech Hub platform is here to support the ongoing digital transformation.

Telkom's involvement in the Kadin Tech Hub platform is proof of the company's contribution to supporting digitization and the establishment of Indonesia's digital sovereignty. Fajrin, who also serves as Deputy Chair of Task Force Digitalization B20, said that Telkom has consistently strengthened international backbone and gateway networks, developed a data center ecosystem (NeuCentrIX) to accelerate cloud-based digitalization, and developed infrastructure to improve the quality of telecommunication and digital services to remote areas.

Fajrin Rasyid said “the traffic of 79.4 zettabytes of data/information per year will enable more problems to be solved. Faster digital connections, supported by 5G and IoT technologies, have the potential to increase global GDP by US$1.2 trillion to US$2 trillion by 2030. We must maximize this potential in order to bring benefits to the state, society, and business actors."

According to him, by 2030, the IoT market value will reach US$12.6 trillion. This figure proves the great opportunity for digitization to advance the economy of the world community, especially Indonesia.

In the next decade, massive digitalization will become a major concept in the world economy. A collaborative economic system will be created along with the increasingly biased boundaries between countries due to technological advances.

“Kadin Tech Hub is established to make it easier for businesses with problems and solution providers to discuss and support each other in a collaborative economic system. For example, if there is an MSMEs restaurant that needs cashier digitization, they can raise the issue. Then, later there will be various startups that offer solutions to overcome those needs using their respective experiences and ideas," Fajrin said.

At Kadin Tech Hub, several solutions that are already available include startups and platforms created by Telkom such as MySooltan, Nodeflux, Indigo, and BigBox. For example, My Sooltan is an integrated digital touch point solution provider platform that can be utilized by MSMEs. Nodeflux provides computer vision & deep learning solutions for video detection in a sophisticated and advanced way.Kadin Tech Hub is accessible on http://kadin.digital page .
