TelkomGroup's sacrificial animals are ready for distribution. PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (Telkom) and one of its subsidiaries, Telkomsel, distributed more than 1,000 sacrificial animals across Indonesia to mark the Idul Adha 1444 Hijri festivities.

Jakarta, 5 July 2023 – PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (Telkom) and one of its subsidiaries, Telkomsel, distributed more than 1,000 sacrificial animals across Indonesia to mark the Idul Adha 1444 Hijri festivities or the Islamic Day of Sacrifice. 

TelkomGroup donated 1,091 sacrificial animals via Telkom's Community Development Center in collaboration with the TelkomGroup Ta'lim Assembly, which entrusted Nahdlatul Ulama's charity group LazisNU and Muhammadiyah's LazisMU to distribute the meat.

"This year, Telkom distributed sacrificial animals to local communities and retirees as a token of our appreciation to the community and Telkom's gratitude for the company's achievements to date," Telkom President Director Ririek Adriansyah.

LazisMU Director of Fundraising and Collaboration Edi Muktiono said that LazisMU has collaborated with Telkom several times for the sacrificial animal distribution. "This collaboration is very strategic for Telkom and LazisMU. We will distribute Telkom's sacrificial animals to those in need. We hope that Telkom and LazisMU can strengthen our cooperation in the fields of humanity, education, economics, and other fields as an effort to improve the standard of living of the Indonesian people," Edi said.

The Deputy Chair of LazisNU, Drs. Qohari Cholil said he appreciated TelkomGroup for entrusting the group to distribute the sacrificial animals. “LazisNU would like to thank TelkomGroup for your trust in us to distribute the sacrificial animals. We hope that this collaboration can help to empower the people's economy," Cholil said.

Telkom donates and distributes sacrificial animals annually to celebrate Idul Adha and to share them with the people. The donation is expected to be able to assist those in need while supporting community economic empowerment in creating sustainable community development. "On behalf of TelkomGroup management, I wish you a happy Idul Adha 1444 Hijri celebration. Let's mark this moment as our motivation to increase further our spirit of sharing with others, for the sake of a better future," Ririek said.
