Jakarta, 30 June 2022 - PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (Telkom) proves itself again as the pride of the nation by winning dozens of awards at the prestigious global innovation event, the Asia Pacific Stevie Awards 2022. The Fairfax, Virginia-based US institution recently recognized TelkomGroup's innovations as a leading digital telecommunications company with 17 Gold, 3 Silver, and 3 Bronze awards. This is the fifth time that Telkom has successfully won the Grand Stevie®? Award in the nine-year history of the awarding event.

For its achievement in sweeping the most awards, Telkom was recognized as the most decorated company and won The 2022 Grand Stevie®? Award for Organization of the Year. This is a remarkable achievement for Telkom to excel in this awarding event by beating 900 nominations from dozens of global technology giants in 29 countries in the Asia Pacific region. Telkom successfully won awards in various categories, including the new category of innovation in social media.

In their official statement, the organizers appreciated Telkom's success. "Telkom Indonesia can even offer a master class course on the proper way to research, write, and present an attractive nomination proposal," said the President of the Stevie Awards , Maggie Miller.

Telkom Enterprise & Business Service Director Edi Witjara, said that this achievement is proof of Telkom's dedication to continuous innovation. "Telkom continues to be committed to developing innovations in various industries, which at the same time will accelerate Indonesian citizens' competitive advantage," Edi said.

Edi said that these awards mark Indonesia's competitiveness in an international fora. “Winning 17 Gold, 3 Silver, and 3 Bronze awards in the Stevie Awards global innovation award is not only a pride for Telkom and its subsidiaries, but also a testament of Indonesian citizens' achievements in an international stage for their capabilities to produce innovations on par with other developed countries in the world," Edi said.
