Jakarta, 24 July 2023 – PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (Telkom) held on Sunday (23/7) its showcase event Digiland in Surabaya as part of its 58th anniversary celebrations. The Digiland 2023 held at the East Parking Plaza Surabaya successfully attracted more than 3,500 visitors comprising TelkomGroup employees and the general public who enjoyed various events featured in the showcase, namely Digiland Talks, a music festival, a micro, small, and medium enterprises exhibition, and a showcase of TelkomGroup's latest innovations and services.

The Surabaya event, which came after the first Digiland 2023 Jakarta, featured the Digiland Talks talk show that consisted of three sessions each themed Elevating Your Future, Elevating Your Business, and Elevating Your Passion featuring several inspirational speakers to elevate Indonesia's future.

The Elevating Your Future session, moderated by Cak Lontong, featured Assoc. Prof. Dr. Eng. Khoirul Anwar, a 5G and 6G lecturer and researcher from Telkom University, and chef and content creator Arnold Poernomo. They spoke of the importance of reducing disparities in talent capabilities, especially digital capabilities, in facing the future. This is because digitalization can support and optimize activities and businesses, and is supported by consistent skill improvement. In addition to that, it is also important to nurture the spirit of innovation and continuous development to survive in the future.

Elevating Your Business session featuring fashion designer Diana Putri, co-founder Riliv Audrey Maximillian, CEO Privy Marshall Pribadi, and Telkom Enterprise and Business Service Director FM Venusiana R. In this session, the speakers spoke about the role and use of digitalization in optimizing business. Diana said that digitalization creates possibility and accessibility for business, and it enables her to expand her network and reach, which supports the increasing potential of her business development. 

Furthermore, Telkom Enterprise and Business Service Director FM Venusiana R said Telkom supports the development of business players' potential, especially those in the small and medium enterprise segment, through the use of digitalization by presenting Indibiz as a digital solution ecosystem for the Indonesian business world to enable small and medium enterprise to go global. Apart from that, Venusiana also said that it was important for businesses to be adaptive in using technology and continue to collaborate with experts to increase their business potential.

The Elevating Your Passion capped the talk show during which a discussion about the use of digitalization in optimizing one's potential took place, featuring content creators such as Fiki Naki, Londo Kampung/Cak Dave, and Dono Pradana, as well as Telkom Digital Business Director Muhamad Fajrin Rasyid. In this talk show, visitors were able to gain insight into the importance of developing and increasing self-worth through the use of digitalization to create content and products that are unique and have added value. “It is important to study failure in business, whether efforts are in the form of creating content or products. And in the digital era, we can utilize many digital tools to learn and correct these failures to increase our self-worth," Fajrin said. 

The Digiland 2023 ended with a moment to celebrate Telkom Indonesia's 58 years of existence with Telkom Enterprise & Business Service Director FM Venusiana R and Telkom Digital Business Director Muhamad Fajrin Rasyid, accompanied by Telkom SVP Corporate Communication & Investor Relations Ahmad Reza,  Telkom EVP Regional V Teddy Hartadi and along with TelkomGroup senior leaders. Telkom is committed to continue innovating and synergizing in providing the best contribution to all levels of society, including business people," Venusiana said.

At Digiland 2023 Surabaya, visitors enjoyed entertainment by great performances from various local heroes or local musicians such as Gildcoustic, Kidnep, and Aviwkilla, and national musicians, namely Nella Kharisma, HIVI, RAN, and Wali. The bazaar at Digiland 2023 Surabaya featured 30 tenants and micro, small, and medium enterprises exhibition that Telkom fosters as an effort to support the improvement of the Indonesian economy, as well as a showcase of TelkomGroup's new innovations and services, namely Indibiz and Telkomsel.

Digiland 2023 capped a series of commemorations for Telkom Indonesia's 58th anniversary with the theme "Elevating Your Future" which featured musical entertainment, educational talk shows and a showcase of exhibitions as well as micro, small, and medium enterprises exhibition that Telkom fosters as a form of Telkom's commitment to supporting every activity of business people and society at various levels in elevating Indonesia's future.
