Telkom Receives Two Prestigious Awards at the 2022 Public Relations Media Award

Jakarta, 26 November 2022 - PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (Telkom) won two awards in the field of communication at the Anugerah Media Humas (AMH) 2022 or 2022 Public Relations Media Award. Telkom won the best two awards out of three nominations in the press release and website category for ministries or government agencies, state-owned enterprises, and region-owned enterprises and state universities.

Telkom SVP Corporate Communication and Investor Relations Ahmad Reza received the award in the AMH 2022 awarding ceremony in Yogyakarta on Thursday (24/11). Indonesia's Minister of Communication and Informatics Johnny G. Plate, Director General of Information and Public Communication of the Ministry of Communication and Informatics Usman Kansong, the juries and assessment team, nominators and invited guests were among the event's attendants. 

Minister of Communication and Information Johnny G. Plate in his remarks expressed his appreciation to all government public relations who had participated in enhancing the publication during Indonesia's G20 Presidency this year, which ends later this month. The AMH 2022 was held to create a spirit of competition to improve the quality of government public communication.

The AMH 2022 is organized by the Ministry of Communication and Informatics together with the Public Relations Coordinating Agency (BAKOHUMAS) as an appreciation for government public relations agencies' work throughout Indonesia. Public relations desks from ministries or or government agencies, provincial, regencies, cities administrations, state-owned enterprises, region-owned enterprises, to state universities were participants in the event. Evaluation of public relations works submitted by each public relations agency for this competition was carried out objectively in accordance with the competition's judging criteria, which had been determined by a team of professional judges who are PR practitioners, academics and journalists. The 15th AMH was themed "Public Relations Spirit for Indonesia to Recover Faster, Rise Stronger".

"We thank the Ministry of Communication and Information and Bakohumas for this recognition. It is an honor for us to be able to compete with public relations agencies from other institutions, agencies and companies throughout Indonesia at the Anugerah Media Humas 2022. This award has always been a benchmark for us to improve the quality of our PR work and in conducting our public communication," Telkom VP Corporate Communication Andri Herawan Sasoko said.

"This achievement is certainly a motivation for us to improve our performance, especially in the field of communication by presenting transparent and better information disclosure through many channels for the public, in order to strengthen the company's positioning as the leading digital telco," he added.
