Jakarta, 10 August 2023 – The digital games industry is one of the most dynamic and innovative sectors in digital business. With increasing technology adoption and evolving consumer behavior, the digital gaming business continues to experience rapid growth. To bolster the business ecosystem's expansion, two subsidiaries of PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (Telkom), namely UPOINT.ID under Nuon Digital Indonesia (Nuon) and Dunia Games Telkomsel, joined forces to participate in the prestigious gaming event, ChinaJoy 2023.

ChinaJoy, renowned as one of the most prominent annual events in the global digital entertainment sector, serves as a platform for showcasing cutting-edge industrial developments, particularly highlighting online game products with unique themes and positive energy. UPOINT.ID, in collaboration with Dunia Games, were present at this event to exhibit their product services in digital games, aiming to forge new partnerships and foster business development opportunities.

"Beyond our role as exhibitors and interactions with visitors and potential partners, this event offers us the chance to explore other booths and engage directly with indie game studios, game publishers, major developers, and payment channel providers to explore new avenues for business growth," Nuon Digital Games Vice President, Dradjat Keesan said.

ChinaJoy 2023, or China Digital Entertainment Expo and Conference, is the largest game exhibition in Asia that took place at the Shanghai New International Expo Center, China. This year, the event attracted hundreds of renowned digital entertainment companies from 22 countries and regions, spanning game developers, digital marketing agencies, platform developers, payment channel providers, and game publishers.

Through their active participation, Nuon and Dunia Games Telkomsel aimed to expand the market potential of the gaming industry, while also conducting competitive assessments and market analyses to gauge global gaming industry trends.
