Jakarta, 4 October 2022 – PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (Telkom) remains committed to strengthening digitalization through Data Center Ecosystem (DC Ecosystem) development with qualified global services at NeutraDC and neuCentrIX. Data Center Ecosystem is a digital service that provides direct connection access to multiple network infrastructure, cloud providers, and large-scale storage spaces. For business industries with digital economy growth trends, data center access and broad international bandwidth will support almost all computing, data storage, data security, and network and business applications for enterprises. National digitization is one of the main economic drivers that begins with development of a local digital industry, which will activate digitization in various vertical industries.

At recent Bali Annual Telkom International Conference (BATIC) 2022, TelkomGroup said it has 28 data centers consisting of five global data centers and three Enterprise Data Centers in Sentul, Serpong, and Surabaya with Tier 3 and Tier 4 classifications, as well as a Hyperscale Data Center in Cikarang and 19 neuCentrIX in various cities across Indonesia.

neuCentrIX also has international scale supporting facilities, carrier neutral and multi-service for other provider networks that businesses in various sectors including finance, manufacturing and domestic and foreign cloud computing service providers can make the most use of. NeutraDC is a company that runs a hyperscale data center business with global standards with Uptime Tier 3 and Tier 4 certification for global players.

Telkom Wholesale and International Service Director Bogi Witjaksono said the data center ecosystem can provide enormous benefits to accelerate customer business. "Telkom Data Ecosystem (NeutraDC) is a neutral data center where many global players, ISPs and other digital players are already in the ecosystem," he said.

Data Centers that are connected to broadband networks, comprehensive services, and spread across many locations are TelkomGroup's steps in creating a global digital ecosystem aimed to assist industries in developing their businesses and ensuring the best standard of digital connectivity services for global players and national players.

This digitization transformation is also in preparation for accommodating future needs, such as the launch of the 5G network, edge blockchain technology, and other future growth of the digital economy industry. In addition, the goal of digital connectivity is to strengthen the digital transformation of lifestyles, government and companies in accelerating the growth of Indonesia's digital economy.

"The rapid increase in the post-pandemic digital economy driven by digital transformation and transactions has created a huge demand for lower latency data storage and processing," Andreuw Th.AF as Chief Executive Officer of Telkom Data Ecosystem (NeutraDC) said.

Andreuw added that NeutraDC as a digital ecosystem enabler provides global standard DC infrastructure with comprehensive network connectivity to ensure business continuity and scalability for hyperscale and enterprises. Therefore, NeutraDC takes part in Indonesia's digital ecosystem development.

Since 2015, Telkom has been listed as the first company to receive international standard certification (Tier 3 and Tier 4 Uptime Certification) and the only Tier Certification Operational Sustainability with Gold rating Certification in Indonesia.
