Jakarta, 27 May 2021 –  PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (Telkom) took the initiative to help fellow compatriots in East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) after recent natural disasters that struck the region by rallying “IndiHome Cares for NTT” program. 

It is notable during this rally that IndiHome called on the Indonesian society to take part in the social cause, not through financial or material donation, but through social media posts using a downloadable donation template frame, which IndiHome will convert its value to rupiah. 

The donation template frame is downloadable on Indihome landing page (www.indihome.co.id/untukntt.). Users can upload the twibbon frame on their social media accounts and mark it using the #IndiHomeUntukNTT (IndiHomeforNTT) and #BerkahTanpaBatas (UnlimitedBlessing) hashtags. Users should also tag @IndiHome account and mention at least five friends who are active on social media to get them participating in the IndiHome for NTT charity cause.

The donation through downloadable template frames started on 12 May 2021 and ends on 29 May 2021. To date, more than 12,000 template frames have been downloaded and made viral on social media. 

Telkom Vice President Marketing Management, E. Kurniawan said that each frame uploaded would be converted into Rp25,000  based on the downloadable template frame from the twibbon posted on social media. 

“We have a target to raise at least Rp500 million for IndiHome for NTT cause, which we will donate to the natural disasters’ survivors in NTT. We hope that IndiHome assistance will help to lessen the ordeal that our compatriots in East Nusa Tenggara have to endure after they were hit by natural disasters,”     E. Kurniawan said.

E. Kurniawan said that IndiHome also provides the opportunity for customers to donate by redeeming points in the MyIndiHome application. For every 1,000 points, they are equivalent to a donation of  Rp10,000. Customers can go to myIndiHome application, and select "IndiHome Cares for National Disasters 10,000" in the "Featured Offers" section in the myIndiHome points menu. Points redemption for NTT donations runs until 29 May, 2021.

Moreover, the culmination of "IndiHome for NTT" rallies will feature "IndiHome Berbagi Berkah Syiar & Syair untuk NTT” (IndiHome Shares Blessing for NTT). It is a mix program of public Qur’an recitation and online entertainment performances streaming on IndiHome Youtube Channel and Instagram Live @IndiHome on 3 June, 2021.
