Antares Provides Digital Industry Class IoT (KiDi IoT) for over 600 students in 17 vocational high schools
Jakarta, 25 Agustus 2023 – The Indonesian government continues to promote internet of things (IoT) technology development to bolster the implementation of Industrial Revolution 4.0, including fostering competent human resources. As a solution to expedite the development of top-tier digital talents in IoT technology, PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (Telkom), through Leap-Telkom Digital (Leap), launches the Digital Industry Class IoT (KiDi IoT) program by Antares. KiDi IoT is Antares' IoT solution in the education sector specifically aimed at vocational high school teachers and students, utilizing a project-based learning method through a teaching factory for creating IoT use cases."

Currently, KiDi IoT is available for 680 students across 17 vocational schools in regions such as Lombok, Bandar Lampung, Central Java, and West Java. One notable KiDi IoT program operates at vocational school SMK 3 Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta, where the curriculum is tailored to meet current industry demands, particularly in IoT. With the Antares KiDi IoT solution, SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Yogyakarta now possesses practicum tools and a robust IoT platform to support students in comprehending IoT technology more comprehensively. Teachers at SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Yogyakarta also benefit from ideal IoT training opportunities.
