Jakarta, 25 June 2022 - Indonesia's National Resilience Council (Wantannas) visited Thursday (23/6) the Telkom Integrated Operation Center (TIOC) Command Center on the 2nd floor of Telkom Graha Merah Putih Building, Jakarta,.

Executive General Manager Service Operation Bambang Haryasena and the General Manager Central Government Services Yanto Setiawan warmly welcomed the council's Secretary General Vice Admiral TNI Dr. Ir. Harjo Susmoro , S.Sos., SH, S.Pi. , MH. The agenda of this visit was to review and discuss further Telkom's command center guideline. Head of the Internal Control and Information Systems Litigation Bureau, Brigadier General Gusti Putu Wirejana, the Head of the Information Systems department of the PSP Division, Colonel Ari Purnomo and other staff were among the Secretary General's entourage.

In his remarks, Executive General Manager Service Operation Bambang Haryasena said “TIOC is a manifestation of the Digital, Lean, and Customer Experience spirit that Telkom has to push for the company's transformation into a digital telco company."

The Watannas Secretary General Vice Admiral TNI Dr. Ir. Harjo Susmoro , S.Sos., SH, S.Pi. , MH said that, as a government institution that reports directly to the President and has the responsibility to foster national resilience, Watannas needs a means to coordinate in times of crisis that is similar to Telkom's crisis center.

“Watannas was established in 1946 as a State Defense Council and is tasked with designing important policies. It has now changed its name to National Defense Council of the Republic of Indonesia. The purpose of our visit is to witness firsthand the TIOC Command Center. In accordance with Watannas' task, to protect the people, assist the country in emergency situations, and ensure world peace, we don't have a means like the crisis center to coordinate and make decisions and we need to have one," Harjo said.

Discussion about TIOC led to a discussion of the future development plan of a crisis center for the new capital city Nusantara. According to Harjo, Telkom has managed the crisis center well and benefited well from the digital sphere. Therefore, Watannas plans to make TIOC a benchmark to develop a crisis center for the new capital city Nusantara development and prepare the best for the new capital city in the future.
