KTT AISChairman of the TelkomGroup AIS Forum 2023 Summit Task Force, Syaifudin, led the work readiness roll call which was attended by all employees & technicians who manned TelkomGroup infrastructure, networks and services during the summit on 10-11 October 2023 in Nusa Dua Bali (6/10).

Six command posts and 200 personnel are prepared to ensure the reliability and seamless operation of telecommunications during the conference.

 

Nusa Dua, 6 October 2023 – Prior to the Archipelagic and Island States (AIS) Forum 2023 Summit, PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (Telkom) had a TelkomGroup work readiness roll call for the AIS Summit followed by a command post kickoff on Friday (6/10) at STO Nusa Dua, Bali. Telkom's commitment and preparedness to support this pivotal conference for archipelagic countries was spearheaded by Telkom Government Services Division  EVP, Syaifudin, who chairs the TelkomGroup AIS Summit Task Force. The event was attended by subsidiary directors, senior leaders, employees, and technicians tasked with maintaining TelkomGroup's infrastructure, networks, and services during the summit on 10-11 October 2023.

To ensure the success of the 2023 AIS Forum, TelkomGroup provides robust support in the form of digital connectivity, utilizing top-tier telecommunications network infrastructure, digital platforms, and services. Specifically, Telkom has deployed telecommunications network infrastructure boasting a total bandwidth capacity of 41.1 Gbps, including Astinet, Metro-E, IP VPN, WiFi, and backed by 1 satellite news gathering Multiple paths and mutual backup systems further reinforce the network's resilience. The main venue itself is equipped with network infrastructure capable of handling up to 36.5 Gbps.

The entire service is bolstered by six command posts and over 200 personnel, employing a hybrid approach across command posts, conference areas, and field operations to ensure uninterrupted service quality throughout the event. Command posts are strategically located at central, regional, and subsidiary company sites, overseen by the IOC-N command post, ensuring continual monitoring and service quality.

"This is the third time that Telkom has supported summits, which are part of the national agenda this year, after Labuan Bajo and Jakarta. Drawing from this experience, Telkom remains steadfast in enhancing support for the successful hosting of the 2023 AIS Forum Summit through superior telecommunications network infrastructure," Syaifudin said.

Syaifudin said Telkom's adherence to three core principles for the summit's success: prioritizing Telkom's support during the event, maintaining operational discipline ensuring the health and safety of all personnel, and committing to delivering excellence through business value creation and operational optimization, thereby enhancing customer experience.

In addition to the primary conference venue, Telkom extends support to telecommunications infrastructure and services at critical locations such as airports, media centers, and gala dinners. Telkom also ensures telecommunications infrastructure and services are available for the Presidential Security Forces and several ministry command posts.

"The 2023 AIS Forum Summit is a strategically significant international event. We aim to provide seamless and reliable telecommunications network infrastructure to support the summit's success, showcasing Indonesia's telecommunications network quality to the world," Syaifudin said.
