Aceh, 26 October 2023 – PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (Telkom) officially added its sixth data center in Banda Aceh, Aceh. neuCentrIX Banda Aceh has officially begun operations to expand the data center ecosystem at the tip of Sumatra Island. The recent inauguration was attended by Telkom Wholesale & International Service Director Bogi Witjaksono, Telkom Network & IT Solution Director Herlan Wijanarko, and representatives from the Association of Indonesian Internet Service Providers (APJII) for the North Sumatra-Aceh region.

Bogi Witjaksono said that all neuCentrIX data centers in Indonesia adhere to the 3S principles: Standard, Secure, and Simple. "Similarly, neuCentrIX Banda Aceh features a multi-layered security system to ensure customer security and comfort," Bogi said.

Bogi also said that many government agencies have utilized the services of neuCentrIX Meruya and Karet in Jakarta, demonstrating that neuCentrIX serves not only digital telco players but also government entities.

In addition to the inauguration, there was a commercial event for neuCentrIX Banda Aceh, indicating the readiness of the data center to meet the market demands in Aceh and its surrounding areas.
