Telkom, through Pijar Sekolah and by.U, supports the acceleration of digitizing school management.

Bandung, 18 September 2023 – PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (Telkom), in collaboration with Pijar Sekolah and Telkomsel’s by.U, is spearheading the drive towards quality education and competitive students. They organized a seminar titled "Digitalization of School Management Through Pijar Sekolah and by.U," attended by dozens of school principals, vice-principals, and high school-level educators. The event took place at the Telkom Corporate University Center in Bandung on Wednesday (6/9). Telkom Regional III's West Java Area Executive Vice President, Saiful Hidajat, Telkom Corporate University Center Senior General Manager, Jemy Vestius Confido, and Telkomsel Area Account Management Senior General Manager, Samuel Pasaribu, along with other Telkom senior leaders, were among the attendants at the occasion.

In his address, Saiful Hidajat emphasized Telkom's commitment to nurturing highly competitive digital talent through various Telkom products and programs. "It is crucial for our youth to be well-prepared as competitive digital talents to thrive in today's world," Saiful said.

The seminar aimed to introduce Pijar Sekolah and by.U as digital solutions capable of enhancing school management through digitalization. Additionally, Telkom and Telkomsel signed agreements with junior high school SMPN 1 Kutawaringin and vocational school SMKS Al Falah to implement Pijar Sekolah and by.U for school management.

Representing the Principal's Work Conference, Rizal Alamsyah, M.Pd., said that the event was a productive collaboration towards integrated learning and teaching practices, crucial for shaping a future generation of excellence. "Many schools in Bandung Regency, West Bandung Regency, and Cimahi City are currently adopting digital school management systems, enhancing integration and facilitating effective monitoring by principals, teachers, and parents," Rizal said.

Telkom envisions this synergy yielding positive impacts on education continuity, particularly in Bandung Regency, West Bandung Regency, and Cimahi City. "Looking ahead, we aspire to extend TelkomGroup's support to all schools across Indonesia, ensuring the advancement of education," Saiful said.
