Telkom Daycare is the first childcare facility certified with the "TARA Ramah Anak" standard by the Ministry of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection.
Jakarta, 21 September 2023 – PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (Telkom) has launched Telkom Daycare, Indonesia's inaugural certified integrated daycare facility as part of its commitment to supporting and respecting the role of its employees as working parents. Taman Asuh Ceria Anak (TARA) Ramah Anak is a certificate for child-friendly daycare facility, the highest certification from the Ministry of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection. The certificate was awarded to Telkom Human Capital Management Director, Afriwandi, in Bandung on Monday (18/9). Wulan Ririek Adriansyah, Chairman of the TelkomGroup Employee Wives Friendship Forum (Forsikatel), also presented learning tools and child development equipment to Telkom Daycare.
"This certification demonstrates our dedication to providing a positive and comfortable work environment for all Telkom personnel, particularly for employees and female employees who are also parents of children aged 3 months to under 6 years. This age group requires parental involvement in their growth and development before they enter formal schooling," Afriwandi said.
Labeled "Child Friendly TARA," Telkom Daycare successfully passed the ministry's stages of assessment, from evaluating institutional structure, health service availability, supporting facilities, to professional certification of staff recognized by the Ministry of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection.
