Jakarta, 29 November 2022 - PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (Telkom) won an award at the 2022 Global Corporate Sustainability Awards (GCSA) in the Best Practice Award (World Class) Great Practice of 2022 category. This prestigious award showed Telkom's commitment as a digital telco company committed to supporting sustainable development and in appreciation for a sustainable program of Telkom, Inclusive Digital Education to Increase Educational Quality in Indonesia. The program's implementation is designed to support the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially the 4th goal on quality education.

GCSA 2022 is an international award organized by the Taiwan Institute for Sustainable Energy (TAISE), which aims to support the SDGs achievement by giving awards and appreciation to various companies, organizations and individuals for implementing sustainable programs that benefit the society.

Chief Executive Officer of PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia International (Telin) Taiwan Kurnia Bachril represented Telkom in the award ceremony in Taiwan. This recognition was given after a rigorous judging process with detailed assessment aspects of the company's sustainable program. The GCSA 2022 award's panel of judges come from various fields, including Managing Director of CSRWorks International Rajesh Chhabara, Global Sustainability Assurance Leader of PricewaterhouseCoopers United Kingdom Alan McGill, Head of ESG Benchmarking S&P Global Edoardo Gai, and Ernst and Young Climate Change and Sustainability Services Keiichi Ushijima, who provides high credibility to this award.

Telkom SGM Community Development Center Hery Susanto enthusiastically and proudly welcomed Telkom's achievement at this awarding event. "Telkom's participation in an international awarding event on sustainability programs is a way to calibrate what we have been doing with the program. At the same time, it is to find out more about Telkom's progress in making sustainable efforts and its relevance to global best practice," he said.

Telkom hopes this achievement can strengthen Telkom's enthusiasm in the future in presenting an effective and impactful CSR program for the society by utilizing technology and digital innovation and emphasizing on achieving Sustainable Development Goals.
