Jakarta, 3 September 2022 – PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia International (Telin), a subsidiary of PT Telkom Indonesia, Tbk (Telkom) that focus on international telecommunications business and Expereo International BV (Expereo), a global provider of managed internet and hybrid networks, SD-WAN, and cloud connectivity solutions, announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at the World Trade Center Amsterdam in the Netherlands (2/9), of their forged collaboration to develop a joint go-to-market strategy to provide internet connectivity and SD-WAN cloud and optimization services acceleration.

 

Witnessed by Indonesia's Minister of State-Owned Enterprises Erick Thohir and Indonesian Ambassador to the Netherlands Mayerfas and Telkom President Director Ririek Adriansyah, the MoU signing by Telin Chief Executive Officer, Budi Satria Dharma Purba and Expereo Chief Executive Officer, Irwin Fouwels went smoothly.

 

"We continue to encourage state-owned enterprises to go global. The key is surely for collaboration. We hope this collaboration can lead Telkom to continue to expand its digital footprint across the world," State-Owned Enterprises Minister Erick Thohir said.

 

Telin and Expereo strategic partnership is expected to create added value, competitive pricing and a commercial model, which culminates in a go-to market strategy to enable Expereo to offer Telin's services to potential customers globally.

 

"Europe is one of the company's focus regions where it will expand its business.  Telin's business in the Netherlands is developing very well, growing at more than 32%. Apart from services to wholesalers and global carrier operators, Telin also provides services and solutions to the enterprise segment, including Indonesian companies that have branches overseas and Indonesian government offices such as embassies. The MoU signing between Telin and Expereo is a good momentum to increase both parties' capabilities so they can provide the best service to customers and encourage other opportunities to arise in the future," Telkom President Director Ririek Adriansyah said.
